In a display of flawless nautical prowess, the team aboard Level 5 clinched victory at the 2025 St. Petersburg World Sailing Regatta.

In a thrilling display of sea mastery, Level 5 emerged as winners of the 2025 St. Petersburg Sailing World Regatta, staking their claim as forces to be reckoned with in the sailing world. This prestigious regatta, held on Tampa Bay, saw top-class sailors gather in a test of nautical prowess. The event, hosted by the critically acclaimed St. Petersburg Yacht Club, saw the team aboard Level 5 dominate the series with a remarkable 25-point win.

Al Minella, the consummate sailor helming Level 5, displayed exceptional skills and leadership. Constant adjustments and unique sailing techniques including an unorthodox higher heel angle for wave-navigation, were integral to their success. This strategic innovation exhibited Level 5’s ability to adapt to favourable tactics under changing sea conditions. Following closely after Level 5 in the rankings, Dan Goldberg’s BAZINGA! secured the silver medal with 38 points. The bronze medal was earned by Kelly Hansen’s 7th Heaven with a respectable 49-point finish. Yet, Level 5’s seemingly insurmountable total just elevated the team further into sailing history, their scoreline boasting an array of 1sts and 2nds only, culminating at a mere 13 points.

The thrilling performance set forth by Level 5 speaks volumes of their nautical prowess, and cements their standing among the best in international sailing.
