With innovation at its helm and ambition driving its vision, defence tech company Anduril has made a bold leap forward with a staggering $2.5 billion fund raise, led by the reputable Founders Fund. This epic series G funding round marks a crowning achievement for Anduril, easily qualifying as the largest single check ever written by the Founders Fund. This fresh surge of capital significantly bumped the company’s valuation to a hefty $30.5 billion, effectively doubling its previous standing.

A spokesperson from Anduril revealed that the round was fervently chased by investors, with demand outstripping supply by over eight times. Such investor enthusiasm perfectly illustrates the growing excitement and faith in Anduril’s vision and capabilities.

The contract, earmarked for the development of AR/VR headsets for soldiers, was formerly held by tech behemoth Microsoft and is worth a whopping $22 billion. This contract alone has proven so substantial that it triggered an unexpected partnership between Anduril’s founder Palmer Luckey and his former employer, Meta.

Disclosed during an interview on Bloomberg Television, these latest achievements mark a significant step forward for Anduril, consolidating its position as a leading player in the defense technology sector. With its huge influx of investment and promising opportunities, it’s clear Anduril is fired up and ready to take on whatever technological challenges remain on the horizon.
