Lovable, the Swedish Phenom in 'Vibe Coding', Tops Sifted's Rankings of Europe’s Promising Under-the-Radar Software Businesses

Lovable, an AI platform headquartered in the heart of Stockholm, is making the software world sit up and take notice. Not only is it creating a wave with its revolutionary vibe coding, turning ordinary prompts into fully functioning websites and applications, but it has also scaled the pinnacle of Sifted’s B2B SaaS Rising 100 ranking - a comprehensive list comprising Europe’s promising business-facing software companies with a valuation south of $1 billion.

Swiftly chasing Lovable’s lead is London-based Tessl, a platform designed to aid software developers and their teams in creating and sustaining software. FlexAI, from Paris, clinched the third spot. This cloud service provider leverages AI to offer on-demand infrastructure for artificial intelligence training, a critically important area in a world increasingly relying on AI for solutions.

Germany, with 26 companies, has surpassed the UK (24) for the first time in the Sifted’s B2B SaaS ranking. However, London still enjoys the majority share of Rising 100 companies, with Paris and Berlin hot on its heels. Stockholm, with two companies in the top ten, is attracting plenty of AI attention. Particularly pleasing to see is the fresh influx of players in the ranking, signifying the industry’s vibrant and dynamic nature.

The investor landscape is also teeming with activity. Notably, VC firm Kima Ventures is the most enthusiastic investor in this year’s cohort, extending its support to 11 of the Rising 100 companies.
