Breaking the Code: Multiverse Computing's Quantum Software Packs a $215M Funding Punch
Few frontiers in tech have been as exciting and promising as quantum computing. Multiverse Computing, a Spanish startup launched in 2019, is charting an innovative path in this sector. As evidence of its success, the company just closed a massive $215 million Series B funding round. The funding round, one of the largest quantum computing VC rounds this year, was led by Bullhound Capital and saw participation from several investors including HP Tech Ventures, SETT, and Forgepoint Capital International.
The valuation of Multiverse Computing is now reported to be over $500 million, an impressive jump from its €25 million Series A value last year. Armed with the fresh capital, the company is developing quantum software to solve intricate problems in finance, energy, and AI. CompactifAI, the flagship product of Multiverse Computing, is particularly noteworthy. This tool can shrink AI models by up to 95% without compromising their accuracy.
Quantum computing investments have stirred up considerable excitement among VC investors, and 2025 is projected to see record levels of funding. Already this year, $1.7 billion has been invested globally across 88 deals according to PitchBook. Paving its course in the field, Multiverse’s Series B is the third-largest VC round to have closed in 2025.
